Over 800 people took part in a Full Marathon, a Half Marathon, a 10k, 5k & a Woodland Walk in support of Allegra’s Ambition raising an AMAZING amount of £20,000 through sponsorship and a further £3,500 through donations and fundraising initiatives on the day of the. THANK YOU for everyone’s efforts in making this such a special and memorable PINK day and successful fundraising event for Allegra’s Ambition.
We should like to take this opportunity to acknowledge a number of people who have ‘gone the extra mile’ with their fundraising efforts. We look forward to presenting you with a fabulous Fitique hamper in recognition of your fundraising efforts.
Family: We have eagerly followed Maddie and Nigel Sturgess on social media with their regular fundraising updates. Thank you for your ongoing enthusiasm to encourage and inspire others and raising an absolutely remarkable amount of £3,160.
U18: Orlando Davies is the U18 fundraising winner. Having completed his first half marathon, Orlando raised an impressive £1,170.
O18: Our adult fundraiser prize is awarded to Chris Carter who raised over £700.
We would also like to recognise other participants who raised a significant amount of sponsorship money. William & Jodie Ferguson raised £2,000, the Wickham Family raised £1,030, Team Jermyn £1,100, the Ward/Bigg family £821, the Rollasons £695. In the U18 category special mentions to Perdi Kennedy who raised £840, Olivia Thorneycroft £615 & Matilda Meynell £430 & also 14 year old Sylvie Lovegrove who raised £562 for a girl she never met.
We would like to thank all 800 participants, their supporters and dogs for cheering on the day, everyone who donated by sponsorship or contributed towards fundraising initiatives on the day. We hope this event has inspired you to raise money for such a worthy and amazing charity. Other initiatives by people last month raised a further £6,850 for the charity.
